Delegation trip on sustainable development: perception and implementation in society and politics

May 29 - May 31

The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted in 2015, is an expression of the growing international realization that member states must tackle social, environmental and economic challenges together, both internally and in their cooperation with one another. At the heart of the agenda are 17 sustainability goals, which are specified with sub-goals and indicators. Each country has considerable scope to make its own contribution to achieving the goals. A joint approach by the state and society is central to this and regions must cooperate with each other.

Brandenburg and Estonian experts exchange views on the regional implementation of the SDGs in the areas of state actors and levels, civil society, rural areas.
